The undergraduate curriculum of the department has provided me with a high quality of knowledge of physics through enthusiastic lectures that stimulate learning interest, useful laboratory lessons with modern equipment, and the valuable opportunity to conduct research work. Despite of the program being quite demanding, it provided me with a solid foundation and confidence for continuing my postgraduate studies abroad successfully.
My experience in the doctoral program includes many opportunities and challenges, and a very good collaboration with my supervisor, with unlimited support and assistance. Through exciting and at the same time demanding research studies, collaborations with research teams abroad and other departments of the University of Cyprus and participation in scientific conferences, I am given the opportunity and motivation to develop and deepen my research skills in the field of biophysics.
At the same time, the organization of various seminars and lectures by visiting professors of various physics disciplines contribute to my training in different research fields. In addition, the position of teaching assistant in undergraduate physics courses offers me the opportunity to improve my teaching skills in physics.
